Kris: wife’s lawyer didn’t show yesterday, so I met with “case manager” alone. called lawyer who said those court meetings are “waste of my time…u and I can settle this without wasting time driving to courthouse (disdains “system” and been doing it for 38 years). wife is talking about maybe accepting legal separation and maybe thinking about reconciliation…still hates my guts.  still sends vitriolic texts occasionally.  but “small crack in her armor”.  meeting with pastor went well…she asked about stds.  told her about testing and results.  she did not ask more about you.  other than “did u have sex on the boat”.  to which I replied “Does that really matter?” and she dropped it. hope your day is going well.  gonna b a hot one.  b thankful u r not in my car without a/c!   😉  Evil Alfalfa  9:10 AM

We had a delicious dinner at PF Chang’s!  They have delightful Happy Hour specials.

 Hubby’s House-made Soda – GINGER BEER (A non-alcoholic delight. Fresh ginger and lemon juice mixed with pure cane sugar) and 
my STRAWBERRY CUCUMBER LIMEADE – Fresh strawberries muddled with shredded cucumber and hand-squeezed lime juice. So refreshing!
 Happy hour dim sum – dynamite shrimp and spicy green beans 
 Happy hour dim sum – hot & sour soup, pork dumplings
and egg rolls

Desserts! BANANA SPRING ROLLS – Six warm, crispy bites of banana served with coconut-pineapple ice cream and drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces and 
CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY WONTONS – Handmade, warm and crispy wontons with a creamy chocolate- raspberry filling, dusted with powdered sugar, served with chocolate and raspberry sauces, fresh raspberries and mint

Meet #32 Part 3

I got up at 7:30 am, found Kris already dressed and sitting on the sofa sipping coffee.  I was staying home from work, so I grabbed some grapes and worked on my computer while chatting with him as he got ready to leave.  

He gave me a hug about 8 am, headed off to a meeting with his minister and his wife.  He was hoping she will reconsider their divorce.  

I told him I would be praying for him, and asked him to let me know how it went.  He hugged me tightly and promised to.  Then he was gone.

Small victories and pleasures

Good morning!  Another beautiful day here.  I’m off from work, taking Mom out for lunch, helping at a project meeting tonight.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

Good morning  No A/C in our building this morning.  Hot in here.  Hope you had a wonderful time in Maine!

Maine was beautiful and strange!  Have you been all up in there?  A great getaway with a man I can touch, amazing lobster and scenic driving.  But he is a mess… facing first post-bust meeting with his wife and minister today.  She was calling him, asking him not to be home so she can “take what she wants” from the house… tough times.  I was glad to be there for him, but it wasn’t all giggles.  But eating lobster holding his hand overlooking a little harbor is just about heaven to me!

I have two hopes for his meeting today.  Either he will convince her to try again (what he says he wants) and she will come back to work on their marriage soon, or she will say definitively that she is done so he can start to move on.  Despite all his mess, he still makes me smile and feel sexy!

Going off to brunch with Hubby and his lady friend.  Whee! Pray for me!

I predict she walks. I also think in the long run, that’s what’s best for him.
