Movie #6: A Room with a view

Pardon me while I gush… This is my favorite movie ever!  It’s an English period piece with a side trip to Italy, filled with humor and romance and scenery and one answer to the ultimate question of whether to marry for wealth and status or love!  Plus Maggie Smith.  And Judi Dench.  And Daniel Day-Lewis as you’ve never seen him.  A Merchant and Ivory creation!  There are several excellent kisses – see the first one below.   Watch the entire movie!  Oh, and the PBS remake in 2007 is also worth a look.
