Chain – F”kit List

Hello Readers!

While Philip is away, Sassy will play the twelfth round of Prowling With Kat‘s Blog Chain, an excellent exercise in posting on the same topic with a bunch of sexy bloggers.  For May we’re writing  about “My Sexual Bucket List.”  

My first thought was “What a great topic!”  I even talked to Philip about a “FuckIt List” once in the midst of an intense text fest.  http://samesassygirl.blogspot.com/2012/07/fabulous-fck.html

There are things I want to do… oh yes!  I’ll admit it… I watch porn.  Sexy bloggers are kind to post good ones, or fine fellows send me videos and I think, “That!  I want to try that!”

But the more I thought about it, the trickier it got.

  • I don’t want to admit what I haven’t done!  I’ve written about a lot but I haven’t had a chance to try it.  I might lose my cred as a sexy blogger if everyone knew I haven’t um… well… 
  • And if something isn’t on the list, does that mean I’ve done it already or I don’t want to try it? 
  • I’m not sure what the choices are?  Can someone give me a menu?  
  • Am I supposed to number them?  Bullet them?  Prioritize?  Organize by body part? 
  • What if my list is really tame because I haven’t been with anyone in a while and I am focused on the basics? “I’d like a hug.  I’d like a backrub.”  Zzzzzz…
  • What if I tried it a long time ago and hated it but I know a lot more now and want to try it again? It would look like I’ve never done it when I have.  
  • And then there’s the whole “what I want” thing… which is still tricky for me.  It’s what I want to do WITH HIM that matters.  I’m used to working on a list with a guy, tailoring it for his wants and how they inspire me.  I’ve only talked with one man who said, “I’ve already done everything.”  Ugh.  Way to kill a conversation, dude!  
  • What will my list “say” about me?  There are so many labels out there… will people think more or less of me if I include this or that, think they know my kink when I hardly do?  
  • Can I write disclaimers?  “This list is a wish list, in no particular order, not what I want to do the first time with every guy, nor does it represent what I have or have not done, nor what I want to do every time, nor…” argh. 
  • Finally, how do I avoid all the “wannas” from men volunteering to help check items off?  Wait… that might be a good thing?  Hmmm…. 

I talked it over with another blogger (yes, we do chat in the background about these things!) who was having similar trouble.  It is even trickier for guys, who are supposed to have done it all already, especially if they’re sexy bloggers!

Whoa!  Turn all that off and write a frickin’ list!  Stick some stuff on it to keep the conversation rolling!  This is not the Treaty of Versailles!

Blog Chain – Springtime Sex

Hello Readers!

It’s time for a brief break from the Philip & Sassy Spring for the eleventh round of Prowling With Kat‘s Blog Chain, a marvelous monthly exercise in posting on the same topic with a bunch of sexy bloggers.  For April we are posting about “Spring Break (sex in the springtime).”

Spring always makes me frisky.  Something about the warmer weather, the flowers, the brighter light… Philip gets so quiet in March and early April that I wonder if he’s over me.  But then we burst forth with the daffodils and go right back to our sexy ways.

Massachusetts has a mid-April holiday called “Patriots Day” that commemorates the first battle of the American Revolution in Lexington.  They do a re-enactment every year, the Red Sox always play at home and the Boston Marathon brings thousands of runners and tourists to the city.  And no matter how tough a winter it’s been, spring has always sprung by that day!

I’ll never forget the first Patriots Day I shared with Philip. We chatted from sunrise to way past sunset, sharing photo and hot words!  I hope you’ll find it memorable, too.

Blog Chain – March Madness (Sex with an athlete)

Hello Readers!

It’s time for a brief break from the Philip & Sassy Shenanigans for the tenth round of Prowling With Kat‘s Blog Chain, a delightful monthly exercise in posting on the same topic with a bunch of sexy bloggers.  For March we are posting about “March Madness: Sex with an athlete.”

Philip was an athlete and I dated other athletes in high school, but haven’t been around the arenas, courts, pitches, or diamonds much since then.  I did spend a lot of time at figure skating ice rinks.  I was a huge fan – traveling to competitions and exhibition events all over – Skate America, Nationals, Worlds.  I remember watching Peggy Fleming on our old black & white TV.  I didn’t know for years that her skating dress was lime green!  I drooled over John Curry and Robin Cousins, and had poster of Brian Boitano on my closet door!

The man who held my attention longer than any other skater was Peter Tchernyshev.  He and his partner, Naomi Lang, were U.S. Ice Dance Champions five times and went to the Winter Olympics in 2002.  He moved here from Russia, wrote Naomi a letter asking to try out as her partner, and they were a huge success.  He was famous for making his partner look good, and leaning all the way over on the ice and circling around on one blade, with Naomi stretched out on top of him!

I saw them skate live several times, but there are two moments that stick in my mind:

My friends and I were sitting at a table in the lobby of the DoubleTree Hotel in Colorado Springs after a long day at Skate America practices and competitions at the new Broadmoor arena.  Peter strolled down the hall looking for the skaters party.  I am one of those people that strangers assume know what’s what and ask for directions.  He stopped and asked me where the party room was.  I stared into his brilliant blue eyes.  And stared.  I was lost.  My sister poked me and I pointed to my left in the direction of the hotel ballroom.  He thanked me and strolled off in that direction.  My companions burst into giggles because I had been rendered speechless – a rare occurrence!

At Worlds in D.C. in 2003, we had seats at the end of the rink where we could watch skaters sailing down the entire length of the ice, like they were going to slam right into us, but they’d circle around and head around the other way.  There was a magic moment when Peter was warming up, skating alone, and he came flying down the ice with his arms open wide… it felt like one of those sappy movie moments when the couple is running across a field to fall into each other’s arms.  I imagined him vaulting over the barrier and hugging me!   Then carrying me off to ravage me!!!

I spent many nights dreaming of a private lesson with him.  Or meeting him in the hotel bar after a competition and ending up in his arms in my room.  Or inviting him to skate for a local charity and getting to talk to him at the after-party and… you know.  Pure fantasy.  But it kept me warm on many a cold New England night.  When my life was crazy, I would run away to Peter in my mind.  Watch the way he moves… the grace, the power, the hair!

Blog Chain – Love

Hello Readers!

It’s time for a brief break from the Philip & Sassy Long Distance Romance Dance for the ninth round of Prowling With Kat‘s Blog Chain, a delightful monthly exercise in posting on the same topic with a bunch of sexy bloggers.  For February we are posting about “Love.“

Gosh… another easy topic.  NOT!  Gulp.

I tried very hard not to fall in love with Philip again.  I was terrified to love him… worried it would give him too much power over me, scare him away, be a burden, doom me to heartbreak again or even ruin my life.  It’s not something you can choose.  It is.  We got messed up in high school not communicating, so I swore I would try to do better this time!

It took me seven months to say “the L word” to Philip, about five months after I figured out that I was indeed in love with him again after 37 years.  I wanted to say it the first time in person, or on the phone, but it happened on a very emotional day… and in a very modern way – a Facebook message!  Check out that sexy conversation:

Blog Chain – Best Sex

The best sex ever?  Hmmm… it’s tough to say!  

Before I met Philip, sex was something men did to me and I waited for it to be over.  Men never paid attention to whether I came and I thought nice girls didn’t participate much, or let men do certain things to them, i.e. I was an idiot!  Philip changed all that.  He concentrated on me, taught me how to be an equal partner, and made it okay to enjoy myself and please him!  I finally understood what all the fuss was about!  In trying to find ways to keep a long-distance relationship sexy, I’ve learned so much reading blogs and looking at tumblrs… searching for things to send him.  But which time with him was the best?  I thumbed back through this blog…and decided to point you to the first time we saw each other… 37 years after we broke up as teenagers!

Blog Chain: Holiday Sex

I am whole and cancer-free now, but two years ago, I was staring 8 months of cancer treatments in the face, prepping for surgery in late December, chemo February-May and daily radiation treatments over the entire summer.  I didn’t know what all that would mean.  I was taking it one day at a time, trying not to freak out over the what-ifs… but wishing for a way to stop thinking about it for a little while.

I told Philip he could go away… he had not signed up to deal with a lady with cancer.  He made it clear he was with me for the long haul one night that December by coming to see me!  He asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I replied, “You.”  I got my wish!  Read the seven posts about our second visit starting here or go straight to the sexy part here.  We only had eight hours together but it was the best Christmas present I’ve ever gotten!

Blog Chain: I CAME FIRST


I CAME FIRST

To celebrate that the election is over, for this month’s blog chain fun Kat (of the uber-sexy blog Prowling with Kat) asked us to write about sex with a politician or public official or public figure. 

Everyone remembers Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky from the 1998 impeachment scandal.  You knew I had to mention them, right?  I have been amazed at how he has been redeemed, is doing such amazing charity work and was a valued speaker on the campaign trail.  

Well, I met him first!  Did we have sex?  We can argue about the definition of sex, or you can read about my adventure.

The first time I saw Bill Clinton in the flesh, he was downtown in Boston at Faneuil Hall Marketplace on a sunny Friday afternoon in 1992, some guy from Arkansas campaigning to unseat President Bush in front of a crowd of about 45,000 people.

My assistants and I raced out of the office, but missed his speech.  As people left, we inched our way through  the crowd about 20 people deep, on the route between the office towers he had to walk to the waiting limos.  We stood along the rope line in the shadow of 60 State Street, hoping to catch a glimpse of him.  He walked right past us, then stopped and turned to me.  

At that time, I was a tall, busty woman with long dark hair, a big smile and rosy cheeks, in a Harve Benard silk blouse and wool business suit.  He was very tall and big, in a very sexy way.  He looked down at me with his beautiful eyes and I had the feeling that we were the only two people in the world!  His focus is incredible!  He shook my hand and put his other hand on my wrist and stared into my eyes.  He leaned in close so I could hear him over the cheering crowd.  Then he spoke… oh that voice!  Silky, Southern… oh my.  

“Thank you for coming today,” he whispered in my ear.  I wondered how he could possibly know that I was wet and tingling?!  He wrapped an arm around me for a quick hug, and I wrapped my arm around him to put my hand on his shoulder.  I am a sucker for shoulders!  He stepped back and addressed the crowd. 

“Please vote for me in November!” he shouted and they roared!  I stood staring into his eyes.  And then he moved on, shaking hands on the other side.  

I have met a LOT of politicians, as it’s all local in Massachusetts.  I had worked on many campaigns trying to meet men to help the Democratic cause, but no one affected me the way he did.  I can totally understand why women fell all over themselves to service work with him… mmm. 
Working a crowd was something he did all the time.  He was very good at it!  And it was good for me.

Blog Chain Fun: Hot sex with the spouse

Hello Readers!

It’s time for a brief break from the Philip & Sassy Long Distance Romance for the fifth round of Prowling With Kat‘s Blog Chain, a delicious monthly exercise in posting on the same topic with a bunch of sexy bloggers.  

For October we were asked to post about “Hot sex with the spouse.”

This topic is tough for me.  I adore other people’s husbands but sadly, I am not allowed to touch my own.  My husband has not touched me since October 1999.  Or let me touch him.  He is on certain medicines that are the likely cause.

We did write fabulous erotica for each other while we were courting, and made love before and after we were married, but I honestly don’t remember what it was like except that he did stuff to me and he got off.  At that point, I thought that’s what sex was!

I do keep trying to interest him… especially as Philip taught me what sex is really about!  But nothing works and the rejection gets tougher and tougher to take.  I muse on what it would be like if he suddenly decided he wanted me again…. but it makes me sad to fantasize about the man who sleeps next to me every night but is so far away.  Still, I dream of him turning to me, touching me, kissing me and letting me show him all I’ve learned and how much I love him.  Who knows?  Stranger things have happened.  Bleh – this isn’t fun!  So I will send you along to the other chain posts!
