Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Eve
Between Phil and You
November 24 at 10:51am
Good morning! I hope your day is off to a great start. It is a bright, clear sunny day, but wicked cold and WINDY. They mentioned “wind chill” on the radio for the first time this season – feels like 16 degrees out. Eeep. The leaves are swirling and dancing in the streets. At least it’s not precipitating on all the travelers!

Phil November 24 at 10:54am
Getting ready to bail out of here to forge through all the traffic. Promises to be a miserable drive. I’m well rested and it’s a gorgeous day though so not so bad. Can’t wait to start cooking. Have a great day!

November 24 at 11:19am
We’re closing the office at 12:30 pm. Hooray! Call me if you want someone to help make the trip go faster. 🙂
November 24 at 11:24am
It’s wicked quiet here. No student workers to entertain us. They’ve scattered to the four winds, literally.
November 24 at 2:25pm
Hoping your drive isn’t too bad. I am so thankful we don’t have to drive anywhere today! I had yummy Chinese leftovers for lunch – spicy Yu Shiang eggplant with chicken!

[Philip called me about 4:30 pm and we talked for an hour while he drove to the beach]

Good morning! Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Football Day! I hope your holiday is off to a great start. It’s wicked cold here…below freezing for the first time. Only 31 now, but headed to the hi 40’s. There are no vehicles at all in the lot! That is a rare sight… Have a fabulous day!
Phil November 25 at 7:57am
Happy Thanksgiving! Turkey is in the oven, potatoes peeled. Reading the paper and getting ready for the parade. Weather feels nice here today. Have a great day!

2:49 pm Phil: What a joke!  Mr. Smith will be selling hot dogs on a street corner tomorrow.  Friggin bum.
2:50 pm Me:  And I’d love to bite you, kid.  Turkey isn’t cooking and everyone is starving and cranky here!
2:51 pm Phil: Ooooohhh.  We are done.  Drinking beer now rooting against the suck ass Patriots.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday. Thanks for keeping me smiling during the long wait for dinner. You’re so cute when you are hatin’ on the Pats. 🙂
Quiet evening – Hubby went to a huge party. So it’s me and the cat keeping an eye on football. Whee… Strangely sleepy – must be turkey. Sleep well, sweet man.
Phil November 25 at 11:36pm
Game is winding down. Nice way to end the day. Black Friday tomorrow. Been a nice day. Glad yours was too.

Good morning! I hope your Saturday is a fine one. Pretty sky today… high patches of pastel clouds like someone from 19th Century France painted them, cold – 37 degrees but might get into the mid-50’s, brisk winds (up to 40 mph!) whipping Old Glory, gaggles of gulls sailing on the gusts… have a special day, Philip.
November 20 at 7:02am
Big plans for today? I’m headed out to take my Mom to the church fair at my sister’s church.

[Philip called me and talked more about his new post]
November 20 at 7:58am
So great to talk to you!
Wading through the figure skating results. The big action is in Moscow this weekend, called “Cup of Russia,” 5th stop of the 6-weekend Grand Prix series. The Americans aren’t doing very well… but a Canadian man, Patrick Chan, is causing a buzz. He landed a quad-triple combo jump in his short program that has the press tripping over themselves. This is the first year they’ve allowed quad jumps in the short program, so they stick out right now.

November 20 at 11:38am
Survived the church sale. What a mad house! Got a tote bag for fifty cents. Taking my dad out for Chinese lunch. Hope your day is going well.
Phil November 20 at 1:58pm
Sounds like an interesting day! Have fun.
November 20 at 10:51pm
Hope you had a nice day.
Had a great lunch with mom and dad. He moving well with his walker, and smiled. But completely quiet. Still good, for someone the doctors have given up on. Food was barely tolerable, so I didn’t eat much, which is fine.
Quiet evening. Did some more de-cluttering. Hubby was sick and asleep most of the time. Looked at more lobster restaurant menus. Yum. Sleep well, sweet man.

4:28 pm Me: All revved up.  Watch out.  Hubby had a melt down and left me at the store alone.  So I’m pissed and casting about for a target.  Wide berth suggested… or send a big hug.  Sigh
4:40 pm Phil: Big hug!
4:42 pm Me: Good answer. <3

Delayed. For 5 hours at the airport. Yippee. Got up at 3:30 for this privilege. Have a great day!

November 15 at 8:26am
Good morning! Gray morning here. High clouds, 50 degrees and staying there. Lots of the big electrical repair trucks today in the lot. The gulls are diving again….
November 15 at 8:27am
Sorry to hear about your delay. Yuck! May this will be “the bad part” so the rest of your trip is wonderful. My friends talk of “having a frog for breakfast.” It’s gross but it makes the rest of your day look a lot better!
Can you get stuff done while you wait? If you need entertainment or distraction, I am here for you. Call or find me online or write! New phone puts me at your fingertips. Heh.
Phil November 15 at 8:35am
Getting work done while I wait. Not a bad thing.

November 15 at 8:35am
Had a great meeting. Fourteen people appeared, including two new people! So everyone was on their best behavior, telling jokes and energetic. I ran a tight meeting – done in 45 minutes! I was revved up, trying to show I feel fine.

And best of all, we got through the entire meeting without anyone mentioning my breast!

November 15 at 8:44am
Then it was off to Margarita’s. Table for twelve. Both new people went, so people ordered pitchers of margaritas and told the good stories about how our group got started, misadventures.
I got to taste yummy nachos with chorizo, barbecue chicken fajitas and my own plate of enchiladas – chicken, cheese and spiced steak. And someone paid for my dinner! Wow!
November 15 at 8:46am
Glad to hear you can get work done! Hope that makes the time go by. Speaking of which, I’d better dash to the office. Hoping for a quiet day. I’ll be working on the payroll.  Whee!
November 15 at 10:42am
Thinking of you… hoping you’re in the air or will be soon. I’m being super-efficient! Got to work early, did payroll, ran the weekly check-in meeting with the entire staff. Pretty quiet week for everyone. Starting work on the holiday open house. Can’t believe it’s almost time for that again!

Phil November 15 at 10:48am
I am sipping a bloody mary and still waiting. Will nap on the flight. Not a bad morning. Find a good dinner place yet for December? Looking forward to that. Won’t be long now. Glad you are having a good day.

November 15 at 11:19am
You sound quite mellow. Glad it’s not too bad. I love bloody mary mix! Do you get access to a special spot? Or are you camped at the bar?
Ooh, LOBSTER thoughts! Yum. I have been thinking about and trying places, even posted in my blog asking folks for recommendations to take “visiting friends.” It’s a little tricky, in terms of finding a place where no one I know will see me, and that has the right stuff to eat and drink, and isn’t too expensive. But it’s fun to figure it out!
Do you know your December schedule, i.e. when you will be here exactly? If you do, I can make a reservation. If not, no biggie. If there are things you want to do or see here, let me know.
November 15 at 1:19pm
Did you ever get off the ground? Hope so. I tried the NYTimes crossword… very tough today. But I learned new words! Grabbing lunch now.
November 15 at 3:12pm
Did you make it?
[Phil posted a photo of a restaurant to his FB wall]

Wow… the Pig-N-Whistle looks incredible! Tell me what you ate? Brisket? Ribs? Catfish? Oh, man, what a menu! You lucky duck!
November 15 at 11:32pm
Quiet lonely evening here. Watching the city lights go out. Missing you something fierce. The fun. food. fooling around. If we were talking, you’d hear a bunch of sexy, dirty words! Heh. Must be the phase of the moon. *sigh* Don’t let it worry you, kid – just know that you inspire lust and longing in a brown-haired girl! 😉 Good night, sweet man. Sleep well.

Busy day? Hope it was productive one. My brain was in high gear, so I got ahead on projects at the office. My task for tonight is to motivate Hubby to de-clutter -> pro cleaners are coming tomorrow! Any tips on getting spouses to toss stuff? Wish me luck!
November 16 at 9:47pm
Hey, kid, How’s it going?
Actually made some progress on de-cluttering! And got the husband to do some, too! He threw something out! Woot! Miracles do happen. 🙂 Might even be able to let visitors in here. Maybe by December.
Did you see that Prince William announced his engagement today? To Kate, a woman with long, brown hair. My sister says she looks like me as a teenager. So you’d probably think she’s cute. 😉

This has been a fabulous conference. Great networking opportunity, lots of work getting done. Having a great time doing it too!
November 17 at 11:23am
Good morning! We’re having a “New England weather” day here (if you don’t like it, just wait 10 minutes) in that it was pouring when I came to work and completely clear now! And 62 degrees! That’s awesome for November. I like it when it goes in that direction. I hope it clears for you soon.
November 17 at 11:33am
Pulled pork! Yum. I’ve seen cooking shows about the restaurants in Memphis… so envious! So glad to hear the meetings are going well. You sound so “up!”
Phil November 17 at 11:34am
We are having a spectacular day! Weather is amazing. Great work being done.

November 17 at 4:39pm
I hope your meetings continue to go well. I didn’t feel like working today, but made a list of the big things I should be doing – and managed to make progress on all fronts! Off to Texas Road House for a STEAK!  Have a great evening!

I have a clean place! WOOT! Having the pros clean is so fabulous! It made Hubby clean up his junk, and throw out some stuff. They sent four people for an hour. My friend got a coupon, so it only cost her $47! And it cost me nothing! Incredible. Can you tell I am pleased? 🙂

Phil November 17 at 9:44pm
I can tell. Sipping wine, watching TV. Going out tomorrow. Big ass beer and an attitude adjustment along with barbecue at BB Kings place. Yummy!
November 17 at 9:51pm
Wow… BB Kings has quite the menu. Several items there I’ve never seen – sweet potato puffs? And lots of stuff I know and would love. Heh. You are a lucky man to get to eat at these places!

Gonna have lobsta and chowda in New England in a few weeks. Whoo Hoo!
November 17 at 10:04pm
And beer!
November 18 at 1:42pm
Hope you’re having another great day. Still conferencing? It’s a gorgeous day – 50’s, sunny, blustery. The November light makes everything so crisp and pretty! Most of the leaves are gone, so I can see the amazing architecture in a new way.
November 18 at 2:56pm
Strange and wonderful things today. The office staff was freaking out over two dead mice when I got in. Took all my managerial skill to calm them down, and form them into teams to remove small furry bodies, dissipate the smell and contact housekeeping to re-set the traps. Ah, the exciting duties of the office manager!
I actually left the office for lunch – third time since August! Border Cafe for gumbo and shrimp etouffee! Yum. Met up with three chick friends. Sassy chicks unite! You would’ve had fun at that table.
And I tasted pretzel M&Ms for the first time. Not impressed. Going back to Almond!
November 18 at 4:09pm
Hey, kid. Hope you had a productive day!
November 19 at 12:51am
Another quiet evening here… hope you had fun. Sleep well, sweet man.
November 19 at 8:39am
Good morning! Happy Friday! I hope your day is off to a grand start. It’s a beautiful morning, completely clear but COLD. Only 39 and not going much higher.  Have a great day!

My head hurts, mouth tastes like camel shit and I can’t find my pants. Great day, geez
November 19 at 9:17am

November 19 at 1:14pm
Tell me your are feeling better? And found your pants?! I won’t ask how you know what camel shit tastes like… are you still conferencing?
My assistants declared today a cleaning and furniture moving day! So the place has been torn up all morning. I switched desks with my assistant, moved all the desks and tables.. yikes! Just starting to get back to normal. Trying to pitch stuff rather than just put it back into my new desk… rah. I am now back in a corner, so you could be underneath it with no one seeing you… 😉

Good morning! I hope your day is going well. It’s a gray day here, but warmer – 48 degrees now and windy. Rain on the way.
Phil November 4 at 8:13am
Rainy day here. Working on some documents today. Gonna grab some jumbo scallops to make for dinner!

November 4 at 8:14am
Mmmm… scallops. So what do you do to them?
How was your German night?
Phil November 4 at 8:18am
Wrap them in bacon and sear them in some olive oil with a little salt, pepper, garlic – come out fabulous. Making macaroni and cheese to die for to go with them. May grab couple of lobster tails too. German was great, had a pork shank with dumplings. Sauerkraut and beer gravy with carmelized onions. Fabulous

November 4 at 11:13am
Wow- what a delicious message! Oooh, your scallop recipe sounds divine! Post a photo if you have time before you pounce on them. Does this mean you’re driving today?
And the German! Wow… what a combination. I may have to go to Jacob Wirth sometime soon.
I probably shouldn’t tell you, but it makes me long for a day when you’d cook for me. I know it’s just a sweet fantasy. But oh, how sweet! I’d put out appetizers and your drink, then help out in the kitchen and clean up after… and be the most appreciative dinner companion. 🙂
The Jacob Wirth restaurant, one of Boston’s oldest, is located in the city’s theater district. Great beers and a diverse dinner menu including German specialties.

November 4 at 1:25pm
Lunch time! All your talk of food made me hungry for seafood. Too bad there isn’t any under my desk. Time for an exciting bowl of Progresso Chicken Gumbo.
November 4 at 3:33pm
Completely quiet here. Trying to find something to do so I don’t let my mind wander. It is not fair that you’re so busy and I have nothing to do. I wish there were things I could do that would save you time… if you have any projects to farm out, let me know. 🙂

10:13 pm – The Big C
[Private post from my public blog]

I had just gotten off the phone with Philip. I was feeling fine. Then the land line rang. I often don’t answer it, because it is sales people more often than not. But I picked it up this time. It was my doctor.  She said, “There’s no good way to say this. You have breast cancer.” I had been pretty sure this call was coming after something the radiologist said yesterday. But it still seemed unreal. No one in my family gets cancer. My doctor said she’d refer me to a surgeon. Did I want to see someone who would operate at Mt. Auburn or the Brigham? We talked about the options, and I decided to go to Kenmore so I’d end up at the Brigham. She asked if my husband was at home. I told her he was, and I could tell my boyfriend too, explaining that my first love had found me and was giving me an incentive to change my life, be healthier etc. so that’s why I had the mammogram.  She chuckled.
She said they’d run more tests on the samples, and that would help the surgeon decide what to recommend, from lumpectomy and chemo or radiation to mastectomy. She said she would get back to me tomorrow with an appointment time, probably in the next couple of weeks. She told me it was ductal cancer, the most common kind, that they know how to treat, and it should not effect my life expectancy. She said it was small, about 1 centimeter and there was cancer in about half the samples they took.
I told Hubby. He hugged me.
I tried to reach my sister, but she was in a meeting at church. I left a message.  My husband said I should text her as well. I did that and texted her husband also. I called Mom.  I called Philip and left a message. Then I sent him a FB message. And then texted him.  My sister called me during a break about 8:15 pm. She was crying. She’d already had a hard week dealing with Dad and hospice, and now this.
Philip called me back about two hours later, asked right away what was wrong and was very supportive. He told me about his spectacular dinner – filet mignon, brandied mushrooms, baked potato, asparagus, and scallops wrapped in bacon! With a nice Italian wine. I told him I did not want to be all about breast cancer. I still wanted to have fun. But I might need him to distract me and kick my ass now and then. He said he’d be on Facebook chat later, in a very suggestive way I haven’t heard for over a month.
I sent email to my online pal Betsey.
I talked to my husband about how to handle my local projects. I might need them as a distraction. But I might not be able to handle it. Hard to know.
I am mostly focused on taking it one step at a time. Not getting ahead of myself. Not wanting to deal with all the medical stuff and make decisions I don’t know how to make. And have to focus on myself and have people know my business. And maybe lose my glorious cleavage.
Please let it not interfere with seeing Philip in December. Please let it not effect my work.  Please let it not be as bad it seems like it might be.

October 29 at 8:25am
Good morning! Happy Friday! I hope your day will be a wonderful one. Pretty morning here… just a few high clouds. But cool… 50 degrees now and not supposed to get much warmer. Many of the trees lost their leaves yesterday. The parking lot looks bigger, more open, with the stick-like trees.
Phil October 29 at 8:30am
Good morning. Bright, cool, gorgeous day here! Heading to the beach this afternoon. Going to be another busy weekend but we have football so it’s all good. How did everything go last night? Hope it went well! Writing letters and evaluations today. Yippee! Halloween this weekend. Always loved halloween.

October 29 at 8:32am
Everything went well. It’s magic when it all comes together!
I thought I might stay home, but I am going to the office. We’re starting on a new project and I should be there.
Do you dress up for Halloween?
Phil October 29 at 8:44am
I do not dress up. Pull the fire pit down the driveway and watch the kids come. Just an enjoyable evening.

October 29 at 9:00am
What’s a fire pit?
You are so lucky to get kids. No one trick or treats here. And we’ll be away from home most of Sunday.
My niece went to a fun party at her pre-school yesterday. It’s called “trick or trunk.” 300 kids and their parents park in the school lot, decorate their cars, and the kids walk around and get candy out of the car trunks!
Phil October 29 at 9:46am
A firepit is a raised stainless steel drum that you burn wood in. You get this big blaze going, have a huge cooler of beer for adult trick or treaters.  We get 100 or so kids. It’s a neighborhood so it’s kind of nice.

October 29 at 10:29am
My co-workers had Halloween in the office today! I am not into costumes, but I put on a tiara and feather boa just to play along. Heh.
October 29 at 2:05pm
Morning was busier than I thought! Boss, who rarely wants to see the budget, decided he did today. So I spent a couple of hours condensing the 36-pg budget report into 3 pgs. He’s great at his job, but not so much on the admin side and definitely not numbers.

October 29 at 2:28pm

Done with all my work. Even got ahead on tasks for next week. Friday afternoons are boring here. You driving now? Your stories last week made me smile all weekend. I have time to talk if you want company on the road for a little while.

Hiya, Philip! Good morning! Please have a super Saturday! It’s a cold morning here, only 41 degrees and not supposed to get much warmer. Brrr…. sunny with high clouds. We have company on the couch, so I can’t get out on the balcony right now!
October 30 at 8:47am
So good to get your call yesterday! Hope it helped to air some stuff. I’m never sure whether to just offer you an extra crispy bucket of sympathy, or to make suggestions… so I tried a little of both. It is frustrating that I can’t “just fix it.” I so want to make things better. But maybe shifting some of it onto my shoulders helps a tiny bit. Or with our two brains we’ll see a new option. But I love it when you tell me things. Good or bad. It helps other things make much more sense.
October 30 at 9:00am
We’re off to breakfast with company. Have a great day!
October 30 at 1:39pm
Had a great breakfast, then put our friend on the train home. Nothing like a good Eggs Benedict! And she paid!

Just paid the monthly bills online. Not fun, but good when it’s done!

Good morning! Happy Halloween! I hope you have a grand day with football and trick-or-treaters! Lovely morning here, 52 degrees. Supposed to stay that temp all day, with high winds. High clouds, quiet in the parking lot.
October 31 at 10:23am
I am nervous about a party tonight. Hubby (for the first time ever) made a bad scene at one last summer, drank, had a seizure (interaction of booze and his meds), blacked out. Big dilemma now about how much I should police him. Ugh. Wish you were here to give me advice… but this is not fun stuff, not your worry. Just send me good energy!
October 31 at 10:38am
Gotta run. I’ll follow the game on my new phone and hope your team makes you drink lots of touchdown shots! Go team!
Phil October 31 at 1:09pm
Go team! Good luck today. Hope everything goes well tonight.

October 31 at 3:01pm
Watching football on new phone!
October 31 at 8:51pm
Hope you had a great evening with lots of kids. See any memorable costumes? Any themes? Hope it wasn’t too cold out. It’s supposed to freeze here for the first time overnight.
Busy day for me – Had a “serious talk” with hubby about the party… hope it sunk in.  Tried to figure out phone… still tricky.  I talked with a friend at the party, asked her to call me if he needs me, before he gets into trouble if possible. Gave him cab fare. Praying he’ll do okay. Home now, keeping an eye on the World Series.

Got a classmates msg from another guy from our hometown! What is causing all this re-connecting? No one before and now 2 in 2 months. Bizarre. Another military guy. Who lives in…wait for it… the state you’re moving to! Yeesh. Not sure whether to answer.
How are you doing with your other reconnections? Anyone interesting? Any news from hometown peeps?
Heading to bed… you driving in the a.m? Call if you like. Sleep well, sweet man.
Phil October 31 at 11:30pm
Driving now

October 31 at 11:34pm
Call?
[Phil called me from his car and we talked for over an hour, until he was back in his apt. in D.C.  I felt especially close to him.  Damn, I adore talking to this guy!]

October 22 at 11:40am
Good morning! Happy Friday! It’s cold here today – only 47 degrees right now. But clear and beautiful. I’m noticing how some of the trees have turned colors and are already losing their leaves, with the one next to them still green. Ah, the vagaries of nature!
Phil October 22 at 11:44am
Cool here too! Feels great! Got a wedding this weekend, more house cleaning too. No football, bye week :(. Getting ready to head out.

October 22 at 11:47am
Call me while you’re driving? Please?
My co-workers are going out for a drink after work today and invited me along to Casablanca, a Moroccan bar, for tapas.
Casablanca is Harvard Square’s legendary ‘neighborhood joint’ on Brattle Street, a restaurant and bar with creative Mediterranean cuisine, great cocktails and a mildly exotic atmosphere
October 22 at 12:07pm
In the “freaky coincidence” category, I got email from a former co-worker this morning. He lives in Pentagon City and was telling me about this great Greek restaurant where he had dinner last night. You can guess where that was…
Phil October 22 at 12:10pm
It’s a small small world

Phil October 22 at 12:13pm
Having greek tonight at the beach. Yummy.
October 22 at 12:26pm
Ooh! They have a FB page. And a huge menu. Looks like all the right stuff – the taramosalata caviar dip. I love the avegolemono chicken soup. and they have loukoumades – little donuts – very rare and special! I’ve only seen those at the church festivals. Wow.
October 22 at 12:26pm
Maybe you can ask if they have galactobureko in the back. 🙂
Phil October 22 at 12:28pm
Cool! Never been there. I’ll let u know how it was!
October 22 at 2:16pm
Very quiet here… chatting about weekend plans.
October 22 at 4:48pm
Soooo good to talk to you!  I love it when you tell me about cool places you’ve been.  I looked up Punta Arenas – It’s in Chile. Google maps has lots of photos of the casino and various places around town. Wicked cool. Thanks for “taking me” there. So great to hear your voice. And your stories. Thanks for giving me a new association for German Shepherds! Sorry if I kept you from the football news for too long. But it made my day! Heading out to the bar… smiling. Hope the Greek food makes for a great evening!
October 22 at 10:00pm
I can’t believe I’m sending this. Did you ever think there would be a woman who would? The bit about the Saint Bernard makes me giggle very time. Hope it gives you a chuckle.

This clip is from a concert by DaVinci’s Notebook in December of 2003. Sadly, they’re not officially together anymore, but if you enjoyed this, you’ll enjoy Paul and Storm who are touring together and can be found at http://www.paulandstorm.com/

Now this video was funny! I loved it!

Anticipation

Early Thursday
Between Phil and You
September 16 at 1:29am
Phil? the rolling O? it finally stopped… another frickin half hour after you left! Man, oh, man… I’m fine. So fine… this afterglow could light the city of Boston for a week!
“These are the good old days.” Right now.
Here’s today’s tune for you. This one you’ve probably heard.
Look at the words… amazing how they fit us.

ANTICIPATION by Carly Simon
From 1972

ANTICIPATION by Carly Simon
We can never know about the days to come
But we think about them anyway
And I wonder if I’m really with you now
Or just chasing after some finer day.
Anticipation, Anticipation
Is making me late
Is keeping me waiting
And I tell you how easy it is to be with you
And how right your arms feel around me.
But I rehearsed those words just late last night
When I was thinking about how right tonight might be.
Anticipation, Anticipation
Is making me late
Is keeping me waiting
And tomorrow we might not be together
I’m no prophet, I don’t know natures way
So I’ll try to see into your eyes right now
And stay right here, ’cause these are the good old days.

September 16 at 7:53am
Good morning! I hope your are having a great day.
Not a cloud in the sky. Yet another gorgeous day there… such a string of them right now. The tops of the trees in the parking lot are bright orange now. No trucks out there today.
Gotta run… have to open up the office today. My assistant that usually does it is out today.
Phil September 16 at 9:44am
Off to a good start. Hope you are having a great day. Out of here as soon as I can get away. Much to do!

September 16 at 10:04am
Very, very quiet here. Just me and one bubbly assistant. I don’t have anything to do except listen to a very special voicemail on my phone… I was very sorry to be in the shower when you called. But it is nice to have your voice and wonderful words to hear whenever I want.
September 16 at 10:25am
Ah, last night…last night was… memorable. You are a talented guy. *big smile*
The triple twist of old memories / last night / and future possibilities is boggling my mind. In a very good way. I jump back and forth between the teens’ first kiss to last night, then on to the fantasy of us on Saturday, naked under the stars near the pond after a chicken dinner. HAH!
Phil September 16 at 10:26am
My morning fantasy was in the shower rubbing soap over your breasts, my cock slippery, sliding into the crack of your ass, fingers probing, slippery, wet, hot, on my knees, tongue in your freshly washed ass, fingers in your pussy, you holding on to the wall to remain standing, you turn, grab my hair and pull my face to your pussy, one leg is over my shoulder, hands on your ass pulling you closer as my tongue dances on your clit, then darts inside. You say just fuck me, I want your cock. You turn around and lean against the wall, I rub my cock over your ass, probing, teasing. You say not there and reach under guiding me to your pussy, as I thrust forward, I hear the aahh, and as I start to really fuck you, I feel your legs go weak……………….

Phil September 16 at 10:37am
Hope that helps you concentrate on work

September 16 at 11:39am
You… you… Imp! Get over here and let me bite your nose. Before I stick my tongue down your throat. I suppose I deserve it, considering what I just sent you.
You know exactly what reading that does to me… shower… good… this morning I thought “he could wash my back… for a start.” and then my thoughts wandered and I was late to work! Good thing no one here cares.
question is…how many times can I read it and still have an effect? GOING TO FIND OUT!
Finish up your work. Get outta there. And CALL ME! Please?
[Phil called me and we talked for a long time while he was driving to the beach]
Phil  September 16 at 3:25pm
Thanks for keeping me company on the drive! I enjoyed it.

Monday memories

Happy Monday
Between Phil and You
September 13 at 7:26am
Happy Monday! I hope you are having a great morning!
It’s a gray morning here. Seems perfect for Monday. But I am not listening to it. I feel good. Raring to go. If you were here, there would be ravaging! Woot!
Did you ever get into really bad weather? They were talking on the radio about Hurricane Igor with 150 mph winds out in the Atlantic. I wonder if anyone is out there in it… hope not. Have a great day! I’m off to work!

Phil September 13 at 8:19am
I do sleep naked. Always have. Was the diary stuff bad or good? Freaky did not sound great. :). Today is a football day!

September 13 at 8:30am
Happy football day! Wheee!
September 13 at 8:31am
Oooh…naked. That has me even more awake. 🙂
September 13 at 8:33am
Diaries are… Sweet. Joyous. Sexy. Brutal. Wicked. Sad.
Prophetic.
Lots of answers. More questions.
Did I say I probably had not written much about you? Wrong.
Can’t figure out how to explain what’s in there… have tried three times, but can’t hit send. Will keep trying. Maybe excerpts. Maybe a summary. We’ll see…
[Phil called me at the office.]
September 13 at 12:01pm
Thanks for calling! That was a sweet surprise. Certainly got my week started on an up note!  It thrills me (and frightens me) how you can tell what I need, and do it. Bodes well for our…em…other interactions.
I am amazed we stayed on target for nearly 40 minutes. We touched on deep stuff… with smiles and laughs and sighs. I am feeling much calmer about the whole diary thing.
I plan to send you a few snippets when I get home. If I don’t lose my nerve. Hubby is away this evening, so I should have some free time. We’ll see what we can learn from that sassy young girl.
Phil September 13 at 2:03pm
Can’t wait. Just finished my meeting. Off to do some painting. Really enjoyed talking to you this morning. Have a wonderful day. Football tonight. I can’t wait!
September 13 at 3:16pm
I got off the phone wondering how I got so lucky. 🙂
I dashed into the weekly staff meeting and blew them all away with my cheeriness. They were still sucking on their coffee, trying to wake up, and I was soaring! Oops.
I finished the NYT crossword puzzle without stopping. A rare thing.
Just survived my annual performance review! Nice to have that done. Boss said “Exemplary Job! Let’s get your position upgraded and get you a raise! Can’t live without you!” Heh.
So I am on a roll! Whee!

September 13 at 4:58pm
Heading out. Still soaring! I will cross my fingers for your team! But not too many TDs.

Sunday sports

Phil September 12 at 5:44am

You too. Still not done. What a monumental task. I’m bushed but there is football this afternoon!

Phil September 12 at 5:49am
No tattoos. Not much you have not seen. Dinner sounded fun. I like to do Chinese that way. Gonna be a long morning. My wife has so much stuff, took forever to clear the rooms so I could get to paint. Rest of the house now looks like a disaster zone. I need a massage. I can think of a body part you could massage. That would feel amazing right now.

September 12 at 5:57am
Good morning! It’s another sleepy dawn here…clouds making a Van Gogh like pattern in the sky.  Oh, my…you are having a busy time!  So which games are you watching today? I hope they play well and your snacks are good!
Phil September 12 at 6:12am
All the games! Got Sunday ticket and 4 tvs.

September 12 at 6:14am
While you are watching the games, I have a busy day planned, then it’s off for yet another birthday dinner at 6:30 pm! (To be honest, I am rather over this birthday thing).

So I won’t be at my computer…which is probably good for me. But I will be thinking of you and your big…screen TV.
September 12 at 6:22am
Wow…I begin to doubt you are really in the military – no other women around the world, not much swearing and no tattoos? Heh.

September 12 at 6:31am
I read your short message last night thought, “I bet he could use a massage.” The idea of spreading my legs and sitting over your ass and getting my hands on your aching muscles…kneading, pounding, stretching them out so you feel amazing…oh, yes.
I wonder how long you would let me work on your back and shoulders before your front, below the waistline, had to be taken care of? Oh, man, you’ve got my imagination going AGAIN!
September 12 at 6:54am
It’s tough to write erotica with a hungry mean cat staring at me. I hope your dogs don’t pester you this way.
September 12 at 9:00am
You’re painting…I am trying to envision you painting a room. Rollers…brushes…colors…but it quickly turns into you painting me – my breast – with a strawberry, covered in warm chocolate, then licking it off my flushed skin. Or me, using a green banana dipped in caramel to paint your ass…then sucking it off. Oooh…
Phil September 12 at 9:59am
If you are going suck chocolate off something, I know how you could have cream filled chocolate
September 12 at 10:01am
My favorite donut is a Boston Cream. Chocolate icing. Cake. Cream.
September 12 at 10:14am
I am not going to drive to D.C.
I am not going to fly to D.C. and rent a car.
I am not going to take the train to D.C. and get on the Metro.
I am not going to D.C. now.
I am not not not…NOT.
But man, do I want to. Want to. Want to. WANT TO!
September 12 at 10:36am
I am going to take a shower now. A long shower. do something I’ve never done before. put the shower head between my legs, let it pound on me and pour into me until I call out your name and explode. Sit there and watch me.
September 12 at 11:50am
The universe hates me. Or loves me. Not sure which. I go into the bathroom, turn on the radio…it’s 70’s weekend on WODS 103.3! All those tunes..the memories…the words I know. Flashback to high school dance floors…Yikes. More time traveling. Eeep. Well, I am not going by myself. Here’s one of the tunes to pull you back with me.

The Eagles’
One Of These Nights.
Lyrics:
One of these nights
One of these crazy old nights
We’re gonna find out
Pretty mama
What turns on your lights
The full moon is calling
The fever is high
And the wicked wind whispers
And moans
You got your demons
You got desires
Well, I got a few of my own
Oo, someone to be kind to in
Between the dark and the light
Oo, coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you
One of these nights
One of these dreams
One of these lost and lonely dreams
We’re gonna find one
One that really screams
I’ve been searching for the daughter
Of the devil himself
I’ve been searching for an angel in white
I’ve been waiting for a woman who’s a little
Of both
And I can feel her but she’s nowhere
In sight
Oo, loneliness will blind you
In between the wrong and the right
Oo, coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you
One of these nights
One of these nights
In between the dark and the light
Coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you
Get ‘ya baby one of these nights
One of these nights
One of these nights
I can feel it
I can feel it
One of these nights
Coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you now
One of these nights..etc….
