Here’s a sight I’ve never seen – the Boat House bar empty at 6:30 pm. This icy weather kills their business. It was a tough drive home but we made it in time for the Downton Abbey finale!

Made it home…first part in RI was gruesome – highway completely white with snow and ice – like driving on crunchy ice cubes! Took two hrs instead of just over one. So happy to be out of the car.
