Thanks for the Boston Globe article about the research on fantasies.  Thought-provoking!  

I fanaticize about women I know in my life. Everyday women. Never an actress or someone famous, and often about someone that others might label unexceptional and/or even unattractive. Sexuality is cerebral, after you’re past the early procreating years. An average/ unremarkable woman who enjoys you is far better than the famous, traffic stopper, movie star (or prostitute), who is an artistic image of perfection, who tolerates you, and allows herself to be used. It’s all about connection.
