Shouldn’t be a problem getting there. I’ll go business casual. See you on the inside.

I have a meet today with a new man!
I was antsy all morning… working but thinking about meeting Don from Rhode Island. Half-excited, half-nervous.  I took a face photo in the bathroom and stared at it, thinking about how he’d see me.  I had a moment of feeling fat and ugly and wondering how I can do this… but luckily it passed!  I did not send it to him, just wrote to tell him what I was wearing.
I left the office with plenty of time and strolled over to The Red House for lunch.  He was sitting at the bar!  Yay!  I adore it when the man is there before I am!  I hugged him.  He smiled and asked how I was.  Wow!  He is tall and good-looking in that way that men are who are outside a lot, looking sort of weathered and rugged.  Yum.  He reminds me of Craig T. Nelson, TV’s Coach.
He had on a white golf shirt and white summer khakis.  I wore my usual dark blue slacks, dark blue top that buttons all the way up the front, and a silk scarf, with my lucky black bra underneath!
The restaurant
Things went a little wonky – I asked on my reservation for a booth or quiet table, and for them not to ask for my name or say it aloud.  I got neither, which is odd – they are usually good to me there!  I told the hostess I’d made an OpenTable reservation for two and she asked for my last name with him standing beside me.  I gave her a pleading look and she finally clued in to who I was (that odd woman who didn’t want to say her name!) I need to find a better way to do that.  Then she took me to a 4-top in the middle of the restaurant!  Argh.  We settled in a right angle to each other and sat close together for privacy.  It worked okay.
The waiter came over and started with, ‘I just want to let you know we don’t have any oysters.”  Argh!  That was why I went there.  He said they might come in any time.  So Don asked him every time he appeared if they had arrived yet?  Heh.
We ordered – I got an iced tea and he had a beer – Stella Artois!  That’s one of Philip’s favorites so I took it as a good sign. He got the half-sandwich (Salmon BLT) with a small lobster chowder, and I got a bowl of lobster chowder.  It’s odd to eat soup on a hot day, but it’s so tasty, I can’t resist!
We had a great conversation.  I found out what he did for a living, that he has grown children who are out of the house and doing well, that he enjoys cooking breakfast and dinner, gardening, tennis, golf, kayaking.  We talked about baseball, where we were raised, travels we’ve enjoyed.  He asked good questions, seemed interested in my answers.  He tried to dig a bit into where I work and what I do.  I answered without giving too much away.
We looked at the dessert menu but decided not to get anything.  He paid for lunch.  I thanked him.  It seemed like no big deal.  I was surprised to see him use a credit card.  I tried to look to see his name but couldn’t quite make it out.
Walking and talking
He asked if he could walk me back to my office.  I demurred but said I could walk him back to his car.  As we made our way through the heat to the Charles Hotel, he asked if I like to smoke weed.  No one has asked me that before.  I replied that I don’t.  He said he likes to smoke every day.  Wow.  Not sure what I think about that, between the smoking aspect and the illegal aspect.  Have to think about that.
He had taken my suggestion to park in the hotel garage underground.  It was beastly hot outside – why did it have to be the hottest day of the year?!
He hopped into the same part of the revolving door as we entered the hotel, and groped my ass big time!  Ha!  That was fun!
We wandered around the lobby looking around for the garage entrance – I asked the doorman, who pointed us at the stairs.
Groping in the garage
He walked down the stairs ahead of me.  I noticed that it was empty, looked for a security camera, then decided not to worry about it.  When we got to the bottom, I tapped him on the shoulder to turn him around, and he got the drift very quickly, hugging me and kissing me.  We are a good fit!  He moaned slightly.  We kissed and groped and mmm…. It got too hot very quickly!  I broke it off and took his hand to lead him out into the garage.

We found his car and leaned against it.  He grabbed me again, kissing… I put my hands on his face, then played with his hair.  I groped his back muscles and he moaned nicely. Then I moved my hand between his legs… nice hard bulge there!
He was not a great kisser, and didn’t make much progress on touching me… was he nervous?  There was no one around and we were relatively hidden in between cars.  But first times can be odd.  I don’t judge by that.
He asked when we could get together again for some “real fun.” I apologized for getting him revved up and not being able to finish.  He said he was going to be away for a couple of weeks,  but he would stay in touch and hope to see me soon when he returns.  Now I see why he was in such a hurry to meet today!
I told him I’d send him some interesting reading, maybe a video or photos.  He liked the sound of that.  He wanted to drive me back to my office but that was pointless and I didn’t want him to know where I work…. So I told him I’d better be on my way.
I asked him to let me know when he made it home and he said he would.  There was one more long hug and then he got into his car and I strolled back to my office.

=====

I hoped for a note as soon as he got home.  That didn’t happen.  GUYS!  PLEASE DO THAT!

Then I hoped for an email after dinner.  Nope.  I began to get nervous that he was going to be another “never another word” type.  *sigh

He finally wrote later in the evening.  Hooray!

Hi Sass,

I made it home and found my friends waiting to go into the pool. Wish you had joined them and me.

I can see you and me in the pool, late at night, and floating around the shallow end. I’ll tell you the rest later.

Enjoyed the afternoon. Wondering where we go from here. Its up to you obviously.

Where would we meet? Especially if you won’t tell me anything about you. Up to you.

Don

Re: Connection

Hiya Don,

Thanks again for lunch and “dessert.” Glad to hear you made it home and thought of me around the pool!

Where do I want to go? TO BED! 😉

Let’s work on what’s possible…where… when… what would you consider ideal?

Hey… I told you lots! And I will tell you more. Does the mundane stuff matter? Tough for me to know what you want to know. Ask me anything that is important and I will answer. What matters other than the feel of my skin next to yours? The taste of my neck where it meets my shoulder? The sight of my mouth on your body? How tight and wet and hot I am? mmmm… where was I? Oh yeah…

Today gave me hope that we could be great together. Let’s make it happen!
