Good afternoon! Hope your Tuesday is going well! Doing anything fun? I’m learning a new database at work (zzzzz) then adventuring to Winthrop tonight for dinner with folks in from DC.
I looked up canoodle… “to kiss and cuddle amorously.” I am not a teacher but we can puzzle it out together. You certainly know about the kissing part already!

I essentially completed the move yesterday. I regret I didn’t tune into Yahoo yesterday in time to get your message. I was stuck in my office alone during the thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and wishing I had invited you over to ‘help’:)
I need to go in today, but just for some light cleaning, so if you’re free….
That’s great about your retirement plans. It probably makes dealing with your boss more tolerable?

Wonderful to hear your move out is mostly over.
Have I sent you my sexy story about how to make thunderstorms less scary? I used to be rather shaky about them but writing the story mostly cured me!
Am I free for what? I am stuck here until 5 pm but after that could party!!
You are so perceptive! I do feel a bit of weight coming off me in terms of the boss. I’ve mostly adopted of… “eh.. she’s doing her thing again” attitude which keeps my blood pressure lower!

I did some reconassence (sp??) with my office mates. It looks like they are going to be in at least through Wednesday next week. How about Monday, the 30th?

I met with HR yesterday to about retiring next year and she said I have a good plan, gave me some more tips and said she’ see me next April to do the paperwork! Whee!

Hiya G! So happy to hear you got away and had some fun.
Hubby and I took my older sister and her beau to Essex, had a lovely lunch on the river at C.K. Pearl. So nice to get out of the city!!
I watched the Pops live streaming on my computer. It was too hot to go out and watch.
I have a meeting with the Benefits Office next week to have them confirm my retirement theory. Hope it’s possible the way I envision, which is this time next year!

It’s been long enough now since my lady friend and I have parted to really understand that this is my new reality. I’ve been under tremendous pressure in my work, which has kept my mind occupied, and other parts ignored.
I have been reading Pollan’s new book “How to Change your Mind”, which I’m really loving.
Scheduled to go to the NH with family (kids and grandchildren) next week. Maybe we can share a bite when I return.
Doing anything for the 4th? Getting closer to retiring?
