Re: Shy and retiring

Yes Sassy-
I’ll explain the suburb when we meet.

I essentially completed the move yesterday. I regret I didn’t tune into Yahoo yesterday in time to get your message. I was stuck in my office alone during the thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and wishing I had invited you over to ‘help’:)

I need to go in today, but just for some light cleaning, so if you’re free….

That’s great about your retirement plans. It probably makes dealing with your boss more tolerable?

PS: why shy?

Re: Shy and retiring

Hiya G!

Wonderful to hear your move out is mostly over.

Have I sent you my sexy story about how to make thunderstorms less scary? I used to be rather shaky about them but writing the story mostly cured me!

Am I free for what? I am stuck here until 5 pm but after that could party!!

You are so perceptive! I do feel a bit of weight coming off me in terms of the boss. I’ve mostly adopted of… “eh.. she’s doing her thing again” attitude which keeps my blood pressure lower!

You know I am shy in real life, right? 😉

Re: Shy and retiring

Hello Sassy-
I would love to tonight, but I am committed tonight and tomorrow. For some reason I thought it was easy for you to play hooky:) I’d suggest Friday, but I may have to watch our grandkids. I will know tonight.

Would like to get together. My office mates are due back next Tuesday to complete their move. Maybe Monday??

Hi again!

You are so cute when we’re scheduling. Heh.

I do play hooky a lot… this week is odd with a bunch of meetings. Monday could work – what time are you thinking? Will be great to catch up!

Cute? Grazie!

I did some reconassence (sp??) with my office mates. It looks like they are going to be in at least through Wednesday next week. How about Monday, the 30th?

Unless, of course you can get away tomorrow during the day.

Re: Shy and retiring

Hiya G! Hope you’re enjoying this beautiful evening! My husband wanted to go to PF Chang’s. I had to smile at that.

So sorry I can’t do tomorrow… have such exciting things to do you won’t believe it – an appointment with an oral surgeon, a meeting with my boss and payroll! Whee!

Monday the 30th is theoretically possible at this point. I will pencil you in. What I am I agreeing to?! Lunch? Canoodling?

Keep misbehaving!

Hiya Brett!

Hope you didn’t have any damage from the thunderstorms today. What a lot of water!!

It’s a quiet night here..I’m poking around online looking for Amazon Prime Deals!

I met with HR yesterday to talk about my retirement theory – they said I am thinking correctly and next June can work! Whee! I’m going forward on that schedule, thinking about how to transition all my files and duties and so forth. I’m taking a 2-session retirement planning workshop the next couple of weeks.

I have to more doctors appointments this week, then I get a break for a bit, thank goodness! Hope your shoulder is behaving.

The word for tonight is skin… think about mine and yours. Mmm…

Re: Together maybe

Happy Friday Reggie! Another gorgeous day outside!

I’m open for lunch any day except Thursday, and drinks any day except Friday! Let me know if any of that will fit your calendar and your desires.

I had another exciting dr appt this morning… dermatology! They looked at my entire body for cancer – nothing! Then they froze off a bunch of moles and referred me to a surgeon for a couple more complicated ones. So that added 3 more appointments in August and September. Whee.

My older sister and her beau made it to Scotland for a family wedding. They had trouble with traffic going to TF Green in Providence and made the flight by 1 minute. Hope that’s the end of their travel stresses! My younger sister is in Tasmania! She petted a koala, fed a kangaroo and bunch of other animals I never heard of!

Any fun weekend plans? We don’t have any… I will go home and plan something! Need to get out in this beautiful weather!! Enjoy!

Hiya Reggie!

Would adore seeing your smile. Any chance you can pop out for lunch or a drink today or tomorrow? Need an excuse to get out in the weather and see a handsome fellow!

Re: Together maybe

Hi Sass, I might be able to pop out for a quick lunch tomorrow. This week has been extremely busy at work. Ah, the price we pay for corporate enslavement.

Can I confirm about lunch later today or early tomorrow – sorry to keep it fluid.

Hiya Reggie,

Awesome! It’s been nutty here to, so I want something better to think about and you fit that category so well!

Fine to be fluid. I available at noon or anytime after that. Mwah!

Hi Sass, my lunch slot just got filled with a meeting. Let us plan for next week. It is a shame to be in July and working!

Rocks, scissors and paper

Hiya Reggie,

Hope you had a lovely day and got to enjoy this beautiful evening!

We tried a new Irish pub in Inman Square called The Rising and were rather underwhelmed, but it was interesting to explore their menu. The TVs were going on about England being beat by Croatia. I felt sad for them, even though I don’t know much about “football,” and wished you were there to enlighten me about what it really means. Luckily the baseball coverage started and I could watch something I understand.

I spent this evening listening to an audio book – my first ever! I saw an ad for a Netflix movie coming in August based on “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society,” a book from 2009. It perked my interest so I went to Amazon, found out I could listen to it for free with an Audible free trial, so I figured out how to download it to my phone and spent a couple of hours listening. It’s rather rambling so far but I hope it will focus on the main story soon. It’s fun to be able to see the “You have listened to 21% of this book” statistics! I can’t remember when I last read a book so I feel virtuous to be back at it.

There were two different points where the leader character was writing a letter and asked “three questions” so I thought of you.

If you want to be sassed a little, the three words for tonight are rocks, scissors and paper!

Sleep well!

Your parts

Hi Brett,

Hope your week got off to a good start!

I had a dental cleaning today. Wish you could check out their work. 🙂 In the “see one doctor, end up with another appointment” theme, they scheduled me to see an oral surgeon to have a piece of skin on my tongue biopsied. Hope it’s not as scary as it sounds.

I am thinking of your shoulder (and other parts) and hoping you are not having too many aches. Or that the memories are worth it.

Mwah!
