Phil: 29 degrees here but the coffee is hot! Family stuff is calmer.  Talking to the pros.   This is draining. Looking forward to heading to the beach for the holiday though. I like it here but that has become home. May swing through NY on the way home to see the family.  Have a great day!
10:35 am
Good morning! We’ve got the 50 degrees and pouring rain thing, so I am making my own sunshine!
11:14 am
So glad the family stuff is better, and that you have right resources! Remember that I know about this topic.  A supportive family makes a HUGE difference.  It IS draining but so amazing when you see results! Hang in there and whine to me whenever you need to. I will rub your feet and listen.
11:20 am
Did you see the video I posted on my wall yesterday?
It will make you giggle if you have a couple of minutes…

5:00 pm
Heading out to eat a little bacon! The local bar is having a special bacon night. You’d like that place… lots of beers. Hope you can have a relaxing evening!

6:22 pm

Off to Philly

Friday, November 4, 2011

8:03am Phil
I do not play. I sit at the piano and sing when I can. Always wanted to play guitar.  I have one and hope to learn some day. Listening to KD Lang sing Hallelujah.  Lifts my soul.  Such a pretty song by such a gifted artist.  Saw her this summer and she was amazing. Have a great day!

8:17am
I’m off to Philly today!  Do you read music?  I want to be kd lang when I grow up, minus the sleeping w/ women part. 😉

10:27am Phil
I do not.  Not to play anything.  I read well enough to sing but that’s something else I would like to learn.  Hope the snow holds off for a bit anyway.  Getting progressively colder though.  About to get fire place fired up. Want it ready for Thanksgiving and pulling the Christmas stuff out too. Here we go.

12:41pm
If you read music well enough to sing, piano should be easy to learn.  Might look for an iPad tutorial. Don’t know how you avoided piano lessons…. hated them!  But I loved playing the baby grand in the big dark church… seems like you sat there sometimes and sang w/ me.

3:06pm
Just crossed into NY!  Whee!

9:09pm
Made it to Philly! waiting for my pal to show up for a late supper. See my room!  Staying in a gorgeous B&B in a HUGE room right near Rittenhouse Square. Tres French decor. Luuv eet!

Busy weekend for you?  Hope it’s a great one!

Snowy night

Saturday, October 29, 2011
9:01am Phil
Had the zupa. It was ok. Hopping little place but there are much better places. Was not real Italian.  Seasoning was wrong. Too much time in Little Italy and Italy itself I guess. Glad your evening was fun. Cup of coffee and off to the gym for me.

9:36am
Good morning.  Lazy.  Still in bed. Wishing you were here.  Hope you have a good sweat.  And a great day!

12:39pm
Drinking a Bloody Mary and eating a divine Irish breakfast, thanks to our pal from CT.

6:32pm
Sis drove home to NY in the snow for her h.s. Reunion! They had supper @ Jack’s. Wish I was there!

9:46pm
It’s snowing! At least a month earlier than usual.  Governor declared a state of emergency.  Luckily, we’re not supposed to be anywhere tonight!

11:23pm
So where are you? I hope you’re having fun. I wish you were here. So I could put my hands on you. And my mouth on you. And see you smile. And you could put your hands on me…. *sigh* We would light up this snowy night.
11:26 pm
Sweet dreams, kid.

1:23am Phil
Great halloween party – Good food, good drinks, good friends. Fun night.
