Sassy,
March has been a brutal month.  We went North to visit the dads.  We just got back when we got the call that my father-in-law had passed.  So we had to truck back up and of course we were there for another week. 
After returning, I came down with Cold Revision 2, and it is still lingering.  More of a chest cold that is probably bronchitis (or more) but for some silly reason, in spite of numerous suggestions from my co-workers that I go see the doctor, I’ve been trying to fight this myself.  I may give in this week as it is really starting to sap my energy, even though I imagine myself feeling a little better day to day.
It sounds like you haven’t been similarly ill.  Let’s hope it stays that way…this is really not much fun.  Hopefully I’ll be back to my self soon enough and ready for more action.

Thanks for your note.  Good to know what’s up with you, even if it is bad. Sorry to hear March was so bad.  I hope the warmer weather will bring a chance in your days.  
Please accept my deepest condolences on the death of your father-in-law.  I hope his memory is a blessing and you are finding solace in them.  
Go to the doctor!  Several of my friends and co-workers had this crud for weeks, went for help and got much better in a couple of days!  I hope that can happen for you!! 
My life is rolling along in its usual tripartite fashion – work, projects, family.  My kidneys have been aching but drinking LOTS of water mostly helps. 
Whenever you are ready, I am here for fun!

It’s been a week without email from him.  I finally decided to ask him what’s up.  And I get no reply.  *sigh

I try not to get attached.  Not expect much.  I try not to let my feelings get into it.  Just have fun – enjoy when a guy is around and move on when he disappears.  I thought this man would be different.  We seemed so compatible.  He talked to me and wanted to touch me.  He was so polite, so honest, so real and then?  SILENCE.  ARRGH! 

I have so many questions.

How long can a gal write without getting a reply?  
     [I am stopping today, so I guess my answer is “one week.” In retrospect, I wish I had not blathered on so long.  (Makes a note for the future to shut up sooner.)]

You’d think I would be used to it by now,  but I have to say this time it HURTS.  I feel wounded.  I feel like an idiot. 

What could be going on?  Why can’t he tell me?  

How could he so sweet and then just stop?  How can he think that’s okay? 

Did he get caught? 

Did he meet someone else?

Does he think his Yahoo email app is working and he’s been writing and I am not seeing it?   Why can’t he write from his computer at home? 

Was it something I said?  
[Goes back and reads the past month of messages looking for some hint of what went wrong or that he was getting tired of me… nothing.  Do you see anything?]

Did he get in an accident or have a heart attack and is in a coma in the hospital? 
   [Checks online news for accidents in his area with bad outcomes… nothing]

Is he dead?  
  [Checks the obituaries… nothing]

I don’t know if I can do this again.  How can I pour myself into getting to know a guy and making him smile and we have a great time (,not once but twice and we’re planning a third meet) and then… NOTHING????? 

Maybe I should get off Ashley Madison?  Maybe just wait for The Northerner to contact me and be happy with that?  I just don’t know anymore. 

Excuse me… I’m going to go sit on the shelf over there out of harm’s way.

Hiya T!  Hope you’re having a terrific Tuesday! I hear it’s warm out there. 
Work is slow today, so I can write to you! I had a fun meeting with folks from another part of my employer and got them to do something about a longstanding problem!  And I got a “free lunch” – leftovers from another meeting from Flour Bakery.  Their bacon sandwich and farro salad are yummy.  
My college pal and I had a grand time last night.  Have you been to the Doretta Taverna downtown across the street from the Park Plaza?  It would be a great pre-theater choice.  It is on the pricey side but they do delicious Mediterranean spreads and small plates in a Greek direction but very classy and creative mixtures of ingredients.  I had a warm shrimp dish with crispy kadaifi and lemon sauce that is something I will dream about!  And lamb meatballs in a cumin tomato sauce.  And beet yogurt! 
Call me tonight?  I will be home alone tonight from 6:30pm on and would adore hearing your sexy voice.
