The world may be coming to an end… I called Comcast to cancel my service and it only took 5 minutes.  I have waited over 5 years to do this, after they asked to speak with my (dead) father when I wanted to close his account.  I read lots of articles online on what to say so they won’t pester me anymore.  Now I never have to give them another dollar!

Tried a new spot for lunch – Crema Cafe.  Interesting mix of groovy soups, sandwiches and pastries.

Another sign of the apocalypse? Took my Comcast equipment to their store and it was…quick and easy. The rep scanned the barcodes on the router and cable box, gave me a printed receipt with his info and the equipment, said it matched everything in their records and sent me away with a “Congrats! You are free of the cable!” Okaaay…. Please please please let that be the end of it.
