You didn’t wake me. I woke up at 3:30 am and puzzled over a project for work. That is not like me… I’m usually a serious sleeper! Finally gave up and got up at 5:30 am. And saw your wonderful message! So I am dragging a bit today but smiling because of you.
The office is quiet. Both my colleagues at my level are out sick, so my boss is in another office covering for one of them! She has already pestered me with a call and five emails but will not pop in unannounced. And she’s in training most of the day tomorrow, so I have a reprieve for awhile.
I’d adore talking to you again. Send me a quick email when you want me to call you? You emails are not shallow!

Thank you for your great emails, I have so much to say and so little time.
First, thank you for sharing he story of your mother’s secret! You being intelligent was no secret to me! I saw through your humility. You are a fantastic writer who has the gift to tell a story. You can talk on a number of topics. you have insights into the human soul. Again, your mind drew me to you way before you unleashed Brassy Sassy. I can not wait to meet you and talk, discuss and laugh. I would love to know what he said to your mom!
I also liked your cautionary tale about the fantasy at the game. Do not worry about sharing with me. It will be our ability to share that will fuel our relationship. I marvel at how far we went in such a short time, yet it feels like such a longer time. Thank you for listening to me also. I like that I can share and you listen and offer your thoughts. It adds depth.
Your friend answered as I thought she would. Catullus is my man – deep, raw and sexy. I added Vergil so she knew there would be some depth to my mind. I remember that she went into museum studies, so I added St. Augustine because I knew she probably didn’t read it. It is a graduate school work for those us nerds in literature. She knew it was about ethics and sin, letting her know I have thought this out and it is what I need to do. I hope she is cool with me.
You said you were thinking about this all day. I do not wish to add stress to your days. Can you tell me what it is that causes you to wonder about this all. I, too, am nervous. Nervous about rejection when we meet. You are so unique, so special that I want this to work. I will never find another like you. please know I am sincere and I am playing no games. I am hooked.
We had fondue tonight and I actually am not a Pats fan. Kraft, Brady and Belicheck are big Trump supporters. Hard to swallow all that.
I have so much more to say, but 5 AM comes to early and I too have Sunday night anixety. Something I’d love to work on with you! I will make up my lack of communication with you when this busy time at work is over and we are meeting Thursday.

It is so fun to write to you, and hear from you! It feels like the best thing to do with my time. That’s a good sign, right?
I am very lucky that you found me. It is so freeing to be able to be me, share smart and sexy conversation, plan a fun outing together. And it can get better if we click in person! You add way more pleasure than stress, and any fear is not over anything you have done, but what your brothers in cheating did. But it usually works out – I’ve only had one “really bad man” – so the law of averages is on my side!
Wikipedia helped me read up about Catullus. Those Romans were a wacky bunch! My classics pal went to grad school at Yale in Classics before the museum bug got her, but may not have read the Confessions because she is Jewish. I do think she was very cool with you.
I am thinking about rubbing your feet… listening you to unwind, feeding you a treat… maybe cheese and salami and crackers and olives… and helping you relax. Hope you’re not too ticklish there!

We had another super-sexy phone call. In between, he explained that he can’t make it on Thursday. *sigh He offered Friday, but he can’t make it into the city in time for lunch. He invited me to meet him halfway somewhere for coffee, see if we want to have lunch. Hmm… not sure what to make of all that, but I will keep going with flow.
