Sorry to be so out of touch. The trip to Canada was not eventful, but lots of family times…great stuff. After we got back, my dad (in Canada) had a fall and broke his hip. Not sure how well he will come out of this. He is in the hospital now and being a very grumpy old man. There’s no way mom could take care of him in this state. We’ll see…
Meanwhile, the cold bug has hit us up since we got back. i’m in my second week of it, missed a few days of work and this one seems to be lingering for a very long time. Makes it difficult to think of much but sleep and dreaming. Hope you have been able to avoid this thing. I know a lot of peope at work have been missing time.
I have most of the day to myself today…just puttering around in the basement and keeping a low profile.

So wonderful to hear from you! So sorry to hear about your dad! Can they replace the hip? My dad broke his and was then better than ever with the metal replacement. Hope they can find ways to help him recover.
Ugh… also sorry to hear that “The Cold from Hell” got you. I lost a couple of days to the noro virus and was just feeling better from that when I got the cold. It was not as bad as many people I’ve heard about, but it has lingered. Sniffles, headache… bleh. Today is the first day in a long time I feel like I might be over it! Hope you will feel back to normal soon!
