I found a blog written by a married couple.  Very down to earth, funny, sexy.  I’m learning a lot!  It has five sections:

Phil: Today my co-workers are hearing that the military no longer needs their service. This is going to suck.  They have years in and were planning on military retirement and now that’s not going to happen.  Friggin government. We need to take every politician and dress them in uniforms, give them a rifle and send them off to fight for 18 months.  They would make a lot of decisions differently.
My dinner came out as good as any I have had in any chinese place. Better than most I would say. Not healthy but man, it’s good! Have a great day! Now I’m hungry. 🙂

Good morning. What can I say to make this day easier?  Nothing.  Lay-offs suck.  I’ve been on both sides and it’s awful either way.  But sometimes, as for me, it’s the best thing that ever happens – let me do different and wonderful things like getting involved with my projects. I will be thinking of you all.

Where’s the photo of your dinner?  You’re supposed to document your masterpieces!!  🙂 It’s amazing to hear about your creative dishes.  You torture me with visions of meals I can’t taste… like other delights you’ve shown me that I can’t get here.  But I am very glad to know they exist!

What a day!  Survived staff mtg, then spent 3 hours re-typing every line item in our budget into a simplified spreadsheet so my boss might be able to understand it.  Finance is not his forte, so I do what I can to make it clearer.  Leaving the office, thinking of you and hoping your day went ok.

Phil: Been a busy Monday. Just finished up in the gym, got one of the pooches to end my day. Some situps and pushups and then I am off to cook. I can cook my ass off, also taught by Mom. Eye balling a rack of lamb to try. I have not made that but I think I can do it justice. Hope your day is good. 

Football tonight.  Have I mentioned that I can not stand the New England Patriots? I hope we have the opportunity to knock them out of the playoffs this year. Ah well, friggin Boston teams. I like the Bruins, Celtics and have respect for the Red Sox but I hate the friggin Pats!

Hiya, kid.  My goodness you were Mr. Busy!  Cool!  I don’t know which is hotter – talk of cleaning or cooking?  Both ROCK!    So wish I could help you and enjoy the fruits of your labors!  My grandmother used to make lamb a lot, had this recipe where she tucked slices of garlic under the skin… yum.  

I want to point out that I am not personally responsible for the conduct of a certain football team.

Phil: It’s like noon there! Good god woman! I’ve cleaned the house, finished my admin, got a work out in, I can’t sleep past seven, feel like like I wasted part of my day. I also don’t stay up very late either. I am typically in bed by 10, unless there is a game on or I have been out at a social event. Be up late tonight for the football game.  Enjoy the rest of the day sleepy head.

I know… it’s bizarre. You know it’s not like me.  Two weird days.  But I started writing Friday at 8:45 pm and next thing I knew it was 2:30 am!  I slept until 10:30 am Saturday but felt odd all day. Last night I went to bed at 10 pm and woke up at 5:30 am, which is usual.  I’m not a sleeper!  But I sat down on the bed to read my phone and woke up at noon.  Weird.  Wonder if I’m fighting off some germ?   I did get up and make ham & cheese omelets, English muffins and bloody Mary mix for Hubby and me.
