Great week away. Loved spending time with our kids and grandkids. Just home. How was your fourth? How has your perception of time changed (or perhaps you’re still finding out)? Do you plan your weeks ahead, or just take each day as it comes? Is hubby still working, or has he retired too?

So glad to hear you had a good week away!
We had an excellent holiday. The family met at CK Pearl in Essex for a lovely lunch by the river! The rest of the day was quiet – I figured out how to live stream the Pops concert so I kept an eye on that. It seemed especially good this year!
I am still working things out.. it is odd to have time. So many things that I did because they were quick and easy and now I don’t have to and I wonder what I really wanted for breakfast! It took a week for me to get to the “what day is it?” point and then I wasn’t sure it mattered. So far I’ve had doctor’s appointments and project meetings and friends over to fill up the days so I have some plans and some days with nothing, all of which is wonderful!
Hubby is home with me. He worried that I would drive him crazy but we are doing well so far. I include him in planning and try to leave him alone otherwise. Heh.
