Sassy-
I am afraid we will have to defer our meeting tonight.

I just got to my new office in the burbs. The traffic is like I have never seen, backed up, virtually not moving. I had forgotten that the construction starts this week (my first week working in the western suburbs in 7 years!). 

My meeting this afternoon is at 3:00. I’m not sure how long it will be but by any reasonably estimate by the time I get on the road, there’s no telling when I will get back in town. I may just stay out here and return late after the traffic. Let’s defer until this is over.

Hello Sassy. Just back home at last.

Decided to have dinner with my mom in the burbs and wait the traffic out. Came up 128 to Rt 3, into town, so will look forward to hearing about evening commute on my usual route on the news tomorrow morning.

Hiya G! Glad to hear you made it home. Hope everyone figures out different routes so it’s not so bad going forward. Do you have to brave it again tomorrow?

No worries – you had enough going on today.

How’s your Mom? Hope she was having a good day.

I ended up at PF Chang’s again! A lady friend of Hubby’s wanted to go there. I swear I don’t go there twice a year and suddenly everyone wants to go! Good thing they have such a large menu and I like it. Of course, that made me think of you even more.
