Good morning Tom! 

Yay for no allergies!!!  I discovered way #16 for a meet to go bad, had to nickname the last guy “Sneezy!” Oops. 

Hmmm… where to meet… would you like to see me in front of the Starbucks?  then stroll down to the quiet part of the food court?  Or would you rather sit at the bar at PFChang’s?  It’s usually pretty quiet that time of day and they have “happy hour” appetizer specials if you’re peckish.  If you have a better idea, please say.  Here’s to chemistry!  

Busy day for you?  We have a weekly staff meeting at lunch time, only time the entire staff is in a room boring each other to tears!  If I survive that, I’ll have an easy afternoon.

Glad we have a plan!  Do you get nervous?  I used to be half-excited, half-terrified, but have calmed down a lot recently.  What will be will be!  

Is there anything else you want to know before we meet?  I’ll let you know what I’m wearing Friday for easy recognition.  I may be late if the traffic is bad… I worry about everyone taking off to head off early for Thanksgiving week.  But I am NOT a flake.  I will be there or let you know.  

Wow!  Great that you’re taking care of your health.  I would offer to kiss it and make it all better, but my healing powers only go so far!

Hi Sassy,

I used to get vey nervous about this stuff. What if she doesn’t like me? What if she says I wouldn’t touch you with a ten foot pole?  What if she has two heads and a beard?  Etc. etc.  just my own insecurity and paranoia. Now I don’t get nervous at all. I finally realized- what is the WORST thing that will happen?  Basically nothing. You meet and talk and if it doesn’t work you go on your way. Not the the end of the world. 

Now I get kind of excited meeting new people. Thinking about all the possibilities. I try to be non-judgmental and hope for the same consideration. I know that everyone has flaws so I try to look for the best in people and disregard the flaws which usually are not that important anyway. I’m more into the mental than the physical part of sex.  Attraction is great but attitude may be even more important to me. 

Of course we all have boundaries. I once met this woman who was very average looking and overweight. We ate and I thanked her for coming but that was the last time I talked to her. Not because she wasn’t smoking hot. She had oozing sores all around her lips. I’m thinking what the f–k are you thinking lady. Who do you think is going to want those lips touching any part of their body. OMG.
