I finally heard back from Greg yesterday after ten days of silence. I was glad to hear from him and doubly glad to be let off the hook!!

Hello Sassy-
I have been meaning to write.
About a week ago I received an e-mail from a woman I had been in dialogue with for several weeks. The exchange ended abruptly about 6 weeks ago. I thought she went in a different direction, however, turns out she had a serious misfortune in her family that consumed her over the past many weeks. We agreed to meet this week. I haven’t been back to you because I really don’t want to be going in multiple directions at once; and, given the history with this other woman, I feel compelled to ride it out to see if it is the right situation.

I’m sad because he was a super-nice man, but it’s such a relief that I don’t have to figure out how to keep from making him sneeze. Or deal with it if he does! It took me awhile to craft a response… hope I didn’t sound to happy at the prospect of not seeing him again! Ah well… back on the shelf for me!
