I went to write an email to you yesterday and right in the middle of the composition, my computer blew up. It still isn’t working right, but I can at least do basic stuff now. The screen resolution is hosed. I suspect the video card, but who knows. I’ll work on it when the other minor emergencies die down.
Congratulations on your retirement! Does it feel any different? A couple days under your belt and it must feel kind of strange.
Let me know if you might be able to do Friday afternoon. I could meet up around 2:30 if you can make it. We might get a bonus on Saturday morning too if you think you are up to it. I’ve got to drive someone to the airport on Saturday, perhaps I could go missing for an hour or more.

So sorry to hear about your computer – hope that is an easy fix.
Retirement is different in ways large and small, especially now that it is getting clear it is not just a long weekend. It is odd the things it effects… but I am puzzling through it!
I would adore seeing you on Friday! And Saturday if that works out. I’ve reserved the usual spot and will plan to meet you there at 2:30 pm Friday!
